The Prayer Ministry Team exists to establish a strong culture of prayer within the church and to intercede faithfully for the church, its members, families, leaders, community, and the advancement of the Gospel.

The team is committed to seeking God’s presence, standing in faith for those in need, encouraging believers to develop a consistent prayer life, and covering every ministry and activity of the church in prayer.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and Encourage Prayer

Encourage the entire church family to develop a strong and consistent personal and corporate prayer life.

2. Intercede for the Church

Pray regularly for the church, pastors, leaders, ministries, workers, members, families, and the spiritual growth of the congregation.

3. Pray for People in Need

Provide prayer and spiritual encouragement for individuals and families experiencing challenges, grief, illness, difficult circumstances, or other needs.

4. Organize Prayer Gatherings

Coordinate prayer meetings, prayer nights, prayer chains, fasting and prayer, and special intercessory gatherings.

5. Cover Church Ministries in Prayer

Pray for worship services, evangelism, outreach, children and youth ministries, leadership, missions, special events, and all church activities.

6. Encourage Fasting and Prayer

Teach and encourage biblical fasting and prayer as appropriate, helping believers seek God with humility and faith.

7. Pray for the Community

Intercede for the local community, government leaders, families, schools, workplaces, and people who need to hear and experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

8. Pray for Salvation and Revival

Pray for people to come to know Jesus Christ and for spiritual renewal, revival, unity, and growth throughout the church.

9. Maintain Confidentiality

Handle prayer requests with wisdom, compassion, and confidentiality, respecting the privacy of individuals and families.

10. Develop Prayer Leaders

Identify, encourage, mentor, and equip believers who have a passion for prayer and intercession.
